Stefan Pakylak is a co-owner of St. Paul Roastery, a coffee roaster in Thunder Bay, Ontario, which he runs with Cam Reid. He is a son of Ray Pakulak and a nephew of the Lakehead University administrator Daniel Pakulak.[1]
Early life
In elementary school, Michael B. Currie would sometimes go after school to Stefan's parents house on Van Norman to be babysat while his parents were still working.
St. Paul Roastery
Pakylak and Cam Reid, friends from high school, began as home roasters, using popcorn poppers and mail-order supplies, before opening St. Paul Roastery on St. Paul Street in Thunder Bay, where they roast coffee in-house on a Diedrich roaster.[2]
