Lakehead University Board of Governors
The Lakehead University Board of Governors is the governing board of Lakehead University. Bonny Wigmore served on it, and in 2017 its chair, David Tamblyn, sent condolences to the family of John Naysmith.[1]

- Dynamite Heralds Opening: The official opening ceremonies of the university featured a dynamite explosion and a speech by the Chairman of the Board of Governors. A large crowd gathered outdoors to witness the event, which included the introduction of various dignitaries.[2]
