George Cook (c. 1876 – 24 February 1947) was a member of the Oliver Township pioneer family of Henry Shepherd Cook, in the Thunder Bay District of Ontario.[1][2]
Early life
- Born about 1876, a son of Henry Shepherd Cook, known as Harry Cook, an early settler on the John Street Road in Oliver Township.[2]
Family
- Named as a predeceased brother, dying in 1947, in the December 1956 obituary of Mary Anne Shepherd Todd.[2]
- His brother John Cook died in 1955 and his brother Frank Cook survived to 1963.[2]
