Thunder Bay Historical Museum Society (TBHMS) is the fusion of Thunder Bay Museum and Thunder Bay Historical Society in 1972.

The 1930s, 40s, 50s, and 60s, are Thunder Bay's "dark ages" after the booster era. The journal began again with Dr. Elizabeth Arthur leading.
