A. A. Vickers was a member of the Thunder Bay Historical Society who presented papers on local Indigenous treaty history in the early twentieth century.
Historical Society contributions
- Presented a paper on the Fort William Indian Treaty, 1850 at the January meeting of the Thunder Bay Historical Society.[1]
- Delivered an account titled "Treaty Making with Indians" at a special meeting of the Thunder Bay Historical Society held at the City Hall; his narrative was drawn from the diary of his father, the late J. J. Vickers, who first came to the area in July 1859.[2]
