W. Smith was an elevator foreman in Port Arthur, in the Thunder Bay District of Ontario.
The estate was probated in the Thunder Bay District surrogate court in 1910 and inventoried at $3,400.00 (equivalent to $96,952 in 2025). He died intestate, without a will, and was survived by two children.[1]
