Leslie Dack ((1915-03-07)7 March 1915 – 19 June 2004(2004-06-19) (aged 89)), also known as Les, was a chartered accountant.

Early life

• Born 7 March 1915 in Port Arthur, Ontario.
• Son of Charles Dack and Annis Dack.
• Attended public school and high school in Port Arthur, Ontario.
• Graduated from the University of Toronto in 1937.
• Completed an apprenticeship with F.H. Black and Co. Chartered Accountants; subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

Career

• Practised as a chartered accountant for the remainder of his working life.

Community and interests

• Long-time member of St. Paul's United Church, Thunder Bay.
• Member of a number of community organisations.
• Interests included golf, curling, and gardening.
• Spent several winters after retirement at a residence in Mesa, Arizona.

Family

• Married Mary Dickinson in 1949; the marriage lasted nearly 53 years.
