Leslie Dack (7 March 1915 – 19 June 2004 (aged 89)), also known as Les, was a chartered accountant.[1]
Early life
- Born 7 March 1915 in Port Arthur, Ontario.
- Son of Charles Dack and Annis Dack.
- Attended public school and high school in Port Arthur, Ontario.
- Graduated from the University of Toronto in 1937.
- Completed an apprenticeship with F.H. Black and Co. Chartered Accountants; subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant.
Career
- Practised as a chartered accountant for the remainder of his working life.
Community and interests
- Long-time member of St. Paul's United Church, Thunder Bay.
- Member of a number of community organisations.
- Interests included golf, curling, and gardening.
- Spent several winters after retirement at a residence in Mesa, Arizona.
Family
- Married Mary Dickinson in 1949; the marriage lasted nearly 53 years.

- Funeral service held 22 June 2004 at St. Paul's United Church, officiated by Rev. Randy Boyd.
- Interment of ashes in the family plot at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
