This article is about the Port Arthur manager whose estate was probated in 1928. He is not to be confused with John Cook (died 1955), of the Oliver Township pioneer family of Henry Shepherd Cook.

John Cook was a manager in Port Arthur, in the Thunder Bay District of Ontario.
The estate was probated in the Thunder Bay District surrogate court in 1928 and inventoried at $29,941.33 (equivalent to $540,260 in 2025). He died testate, leaving a will.[1]
