Earl Todd (died 14 March 1980) was a resident of Oliver Township and later of Thunder Bay, Ontario, and a son of the pioneer family of Arthur Todd and Mary Anne Shepherd Todd.[1][2]
Early life
- Son of Arthur Todd (c. 1867 – 1940) and Mary Anne Shepherd Todd (c. 1872 – 1956), who married in 1890 and farmed in Oliver Township on the John Street Road.[2]
Family
- Married Dorothy Anna Todd (née Donaldson) on 3 February 1937.[3]
- Living at the family home in December 1956, when he was named as a surviving son in his mother's obituary.[2]
Death
- Died 14 March 1980 at Thunder Bay.[1]
Identification
The identification with the son named in the 1956 obituary rests on the given name Earl, uncommon in the Todd family of the district, and on his being recorded at Thunder Bay throughout, consistent with the son described in the notice as living at the family home.
