From thunderbay.wiki

Archie McLellan

Archie McLellan was a ski jumper with the Port Arthur Ski Club in 1939.[1]

Role in skiing

He was entered in the jumping at the 1939 Dominion ski championships on Mount McKay, the meet at which Knute Hansen, later a co-founder of Big Thunder, is said to have set a 155-foot hill and Ontario record.[1][2] He may be the same person as Archie McLellan (c. 1916–1942); this has not been confirmed.
