William Gale was a grain elevator employee in Port Arthur, in the Thunder Bay District of Ontario. He is distinct from the Bell Labs scientist William Gale (1939 or 1940 – 2002).
The estate was probated in the Thunder Bay District surrogate court in 1921 and inventoried at $571.00 (equivalent to $9,376 in 2025). He died testate, leaving a will.[1]
