William Brooks (8 August 1890 – 17 June 1916 (aged 25)) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Infantry (Manitoba Regiment). Brooks died on active service during the First World War.[1]
Early life
Brooks was born on 8 August 1890.[1]
Service
Brooks enlisted at Port Arthur and served as a private (service number 1429) in the Army, Canadian Infantry (Manitoba Regiment) (8th Bn.).[1]
Death
Brooks died on 17 June 1916, aged 25. He is commemorated at Boulogne Eastern Cemetery (grave reference VIII. B. 101.).[1]
