Charles Albert Brooks (18 October 1885 – 18 January 1919 (aged 33)) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Forestry Corps. Brooks died on active service during the First World War.[1]
Early life
Brooks was born at Qucersalt on 18 October 1885, the son of William Brooks and Isabella Brooks.[1]
Service
Brooks enlisted at Port Arthur and served as a private (service number 1013711) in the Army, Canadian Forestry Corps (58th Coy.).[1]
Death
Brooks died of pneumonia on 18 January 1919, aged 33. He is commemorated at Englefield Green Cemetery (grave reference 12. 896.).[1]
