Thomas McMurray was the Hudson's Bay Company chief factor at the Pic post around 1834-1841.[1]
Career
- In 1836 forwarded the Act prohibiting the sale of liquor to Indians.
- Kept the 1840 Pic post journal, recording fishing stations, Divine Service, and a school for Indian children.
- Wrote the "Pic and Long Lake Report" of 1841 on subsistence and daily allowances.
