- Named in the write-up "SIBLEY'S SECRET": This legend recounts how the god Kitci Manitou revealed a secret silver mine in Thunder Bay to the Ojibway people on the condition they never tell white men. Despite being tortured by the jealous Sioux, the Ojibway braves refused to betray the secret or their god.[1]
