John Reeve (24 November 1854 – 22 July 1936 (aged 81)) was a lawyer and choirmaster in Port Arthur.[1]
Career
Reeve was called to the bar in 1890 and practised law in Port Arthur from 1891 to 1898, first in partnership with Wink & Cameron, then with A.S. Wink. He returned to Port Arthur from Chatham, Ontario, in November 1906 and continued to practise law until his death. He served as choirmaster of the First Baptist Church in Port Arthur for thirty years. He was Conservative in politics.
Death
Reeve was born on 24 November 1854 in England and died on 22 July 1936 in Port Arthur in his 82nd year.
