Jane Audrey Eames (née Coles; died (2010-11-01)1 November 2010) was a potter who, with her husband Bill Eames, ran Aardvark Pottery in Thunder Bay.[1]

Life

Jane Coles was Bill Eames's pottery teacher in London, England, and they married there. They lived in Blackheath with their daughters Gillian and Madeleine, and in 1966 the family moved to Port Arthur, where Tamsin and David were born.[1]

In 1977 she and Bill opened Aardvark Pottery, a studio making functional earthenware.[1] After his retirement from Lakehead University in 1993 they travelled to pottery workshops and to Mexico. She died in 2010, and the memorial for Bill says he lost interest in their shared pursuits afterwards.[1]
