Elizabeth Fuller skied for the host Fort William Ski Club in the women's invitation races at the 1939 Dominion ski championships on Mount McKay. The News-Chronicle called her Elizabeth (Tib) Fuller, and named her and Betty Youngs as "Fort William's two ranking skiers". (An earlier version of this page said she was 13. That came from an OCR misreading of "(Tib)".)[1]
Role in skiing
The February 1939 meet is part of the early history that led to Big Thunder. See History of skiing in Thunder Bay.[1]
