Douglas Mason Fisher (September 19, 1919 – September 18, 2009) was a Canadian political columnist and politician.

Douglas Mason Fisher (September 19, 1919 – September 18, 2009) was born in Sioux Lookout, Ontario, the son of Roy W. Fisher and Eva Pearl Mason. He returned to northern Ontario to work as a librarian at the Lakehead Technical Institute and then taught history at Port Arthur Collegiate Institute. He entered politics by defeating Cabinet minister C.D. Howe in the 1957 general election and served as Member of Parliament for Port Arthur until 1965. He married Barbara Elizabeth Lamont, with whom he had five sons: Matthew Fisher, Mark Fisher, Luke Fisher, John Fisher, and Tobias Fisher.
