Alex McNaughton (c. 1867 – 8 December 1952) was a resident of Fort William, Ontario.[1]
In the Papers of the Thunder Bay Historical Society
At the 29 September 1923 meeting of the Thunder Bay Historical Society, McNaughton presented a chapter from the work of Professor H. R. Hind on "Exploration in the Kaministiquia Valley in 1857."[2]
A 1924–1925 historical sketch of the First Presbyterian Church, Fort William recalled McNaughton as a long-serving city clerk of Fort William, citing him as a familiar fixture of civic life alongside police chief Bill Dodds.[3]
