W. Hadden was a stonemason in Port Arthur, in the Thunder Bay District of Ontario.
The estate was probated in the Thunder Bay District surrogate court in 1896 and inventoried at $2,583.36 (equivalent to $126,661 in 2025). He died intestate, without a will, and was survived by five children.[1]
