W.J. Lorden was a railway conductor in Schreiber, in the Thunder Bay District of Ontario.
The estate was probated in the Thunder Bay District surrogate court in 1888 and inventoried at $497.15 (equivalent to $16,520 in 2025). He died intestate, without a will, and was survived by two children.[1]
