W.J. Barrie was a photographer in Port Arthur, in the Thunder Bay District of Ontario.
The estate was probated in the Thunder Bay District surrogate court in 1896 and inventoried at $3,703.00 (equivalent to $181,556 in 2025). He died intestate, without a will, and was survived by three children.[1]
