Trowbridge Falls
Appearance
Trowbridge Falls is a park and falls on the Current River in the north of Port Arthur, now Thunder Bay.
Skiing
In December 1964 a 200-foot wooded hill at Trowbridge Falls, on city parks property, was named as the site of an international-standard ski jump. It was to be built for the Canadian cross-country championships at Trowbridge Falls and Boulevard Lake in February 1965. Whether it was built is not known.[1] Major jumping in the area later moved to Big Thunder.
