T.E. Patch was a railroad conductor in Schreiber, in the Thunder Bay District of Ontario.

The estate was probated in the Thunder Bay District surrogate court in 1896 and inventoried at $840.02 (equivalent to $41,186 in 2025). He died intestate, without a will, and was survived by three children.[1]
