Samuel Newton Hodgson (died (1945-03-09)9 March 1945) was a Canadian soldier who served in Thunder Bay's Lake Superior Regiment. Hodgson died on active service during the Second World War.[1]

Early life

the son of Samuel N. Hodgson and Catherine M. Hodgson.[1]

Service

Hodgson served as a private (service number G/49408) in the Army, Lake Superior Regiment ((Motor), R).[1]

Death

Hodgson died on 9 March 1945, aged 21. He is commemorated at Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery (grave reference XXV. B. 8.).[1]
