Ronald Wesley Faulkner ((1931-07-26)26 July 1931 – 1 March 1957(1957-03-01) (aged 25)) was a Canadian soldier from Port Arthur in the Central Experimental and Proving Establishment, RCAF. Faulkner died on active service during the Second World War.[1]

Early life

Faulkner was born in Port Arthur on 26 July 1931, the son of Walter Ronald Faulkner and Daisy Ellen Faulkner, husband of Jeannie Faulkner.[1]

Service

Faulkner enlisted at Winnipeg and served as a corporal (service number 44937) in the Air Force, Central Experimental and Proving Establishment, RCAF.[1]

Death

Faulkner died of flying accident on 1 March 1957, aged 25. He is commemorated at Ottawa (Notre Dame) Roman Catholic Cemetery (grave reference Grave 3, DVA Plot, Lot 30 SE).[1]
