Robert Ralph Biggar ((1927-09-20)20 September 1927 – 17 August 1954(1954-08-17) (aged 26)) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Fort William in the Royal Canadian Air Force. Biggar died on active service during the Second World War.[1]

Early life

Biggar was born at Midland on 20 September 1927, the son of William Biggar and Alice Biggar, husband of Barbara Biggar.[1]

Service

Biggar enlisted at Fort William and served as a flying officer (service number 14699) in the Air Force, Royal Canadian Air Force (No. 1 Flying Instructors School).[1]

Death

Biggar died of flying accident on 17 August 1954, aged 26. He is commemorated at Midland (Lakeview) Cemetery (grave reference Grave WI, Plot 41, Section 1).[1]
