Paul Auger (c. 1887 – 23 May 1948) was a mixed-ancestry resident of Pays Plat and Rossport.[1][2]
Life
- Four years old on the 1891 census for the Pays Plat and Nipigon Indians, which recorded both parents as from Ontario.
- His parentage was given as "by a Frenchman" on the 1899 Pays Plat Band paylist.
- Recorded as a son of Joseph Musquash (1901 census, Rossport) and as a child of Alex Musquash, with his origin given as "Ojibway".
