M. McCutcheon was a resident of Port Arthur, in the Thunder Bay District of Ontario. The surrogate-court probate records list two different decedents named M. McCutcheon in the district; this article covers the one whose estate was probated at Port Arthur in 1902.
The estate was probated in the Thunder Bay District surrogate court in 1902 and inventoried at $4,075.00 (equivalent to $157,524 in 2025). She died intestate, without a will, and was survived by one child.[1]
