Joseph J Reid (born 21 July 1896) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur and served in the First World War.[1]
Early life
Reid was born at Charlestown, Canada on 21 July 1896.[1]
Service
Reid enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 1st Depot Battalion, Manitoba Regiment (regimental number 2383342).[1]
Attestation
On enlistment, his trade was given as teamster; his next of kin was recorded as his sister, Mrs. M. Walsh, of 18 Stokes St. Port Arthur, Ontario Canada.[1]
