John William Rowthorn (born 29 June 1896) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur and served in the First World War.[1]

Rowthorn was born at Northampton, Northamptonshire, England on 29 June 1896.[1]
Service
Rowthorn enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, 52nd Overseas Battalion (regimental number 438466).[1]
Attestation
On enlistment, his trade was given as teamster; his next of kin was recorded as his mother, Mrs. A. Rowthorn, of 609 Prince Arthur Boulevard.[1]
