John Coleman (31 October 1886 – 6 June 1916 (aged 29)) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Fort William in the Canadian Infantry (Saskatchewan Regiment). Coleman died on active service during the First World War.[1]
Early life
Coleman was born on 31 October 1886.[1]
Service
Coleman enlisted at Fort William and served as a corporal (service number 73874) in the Army, Canadian Infantry (Saskatchewan Regiment) (28th Bn.).[1]
Death
Coleman died on 6 June 1916, aged 29. He is commemorated at Menin Gate (Ypres) Memorial (grave reference Panel 18 - 26 - 28).[1]
