James Morrison

James Morrison ((1895-07-27)27 July 1895 – 17 April 1917(1917-04-17) (aged 21)) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Infantry (Manitoba Regiment). Morrison died on active service during the First World War.[1]

Early life

Morrison was born at Glasgow on 27 July 1895.[1]

Service

Morrison enlisted at Port Arthur and served as a private (service number 439143) in the Army, Canadian Infantry (Manitoba Regiment) (52nd Bn).[1]

Death

Morrison died on 17 April 1917, aged 21. He is commemorated at Petit-Vimy British Cemetery (grave reference A. 6.).[1]
