James Fraser Macdonell (born 21 September 1887) was a Canadian soldier from Port Arthur who served in the First World War.[1]
Early life
Macdonell was born in Port Arthur on 21 September 1887.[1]
Service
Macdonell enlisted at Valcartier in the Canadian Expeditionary Force (regimental number 1880).[1]
Attestation
On enlistment, his trade was given as machinist; his next of kin was recorded as his mother, Mrs. D. F. Macdonell, of 1830 Mance St. Montreal Que.[1]
