James Claude Poole (20 July 1924 – 20 September 1944 (aged 20)) was a Canadian soldier from Port Arthur in the Highland Light Infantry of Canada, R.C.I.C.. Poole died on active service during the Second World War.[1]

Poole was born in Port Arthur on 20 July 1924.[1]
Service
Poole enlisted at Port Arthur and served as a private (service number H/195637) in the Army, Highland Light Infantry of Canada, R.C.I.C..[1]
Death
Poole died of kia- france on 20 September 1944, aged 20. He is commemorated at Calais Canadian War Cemetery (Leubringhen) (grave reference 5. D. 7.).[1]
