James Andrew Bruce Grawbarger (18 June 1918 – 10 October 1944 (aged 26)) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur in the Algonquin Regiment, R.C.I.C.. Grawbarger died on active service during the Second World War.[1]
Early life
Grawbarger was born at Patterson Township, Parry Sound on 18 June 1918, the son of Samuel Grawbarger and Elizabeth Grawbarger.[1]
Service
Grawbarger enlisted at Port Arthur and served as a sergeant (service number B/55540) in the Army, Algonquin Regiment, R.C.I.C..[1]
Death
Grawbarger died on 10 October 1944, aged 26. He is commemorated at Adegem Canadian War Cemetery (grave reference IV. A. 4.).[1]
