J. Harvey was a sectionman in Bremner Station, in the Thunder Bay District of Ontario. The surrogate-court probate records list two different decedents named J. Harvey in the district; this article covers the one whose estate was probated at Bremner Station in 1899.
The estate was probated in the Thunder Bay District surrogate court in 1899 and inventoried at $698.22 (equivalent to $29,237 in 2025). He died intestate, without a will.[1]
