J. Bray was a laborer in Port Arthur, in the Thunder Bay District of Ontario.
The estate was probated in the Thunder Bay District surrogate court in 1893 and inventoried at $1,800.00 (equivalent to $69,581 in 2025). He died testate, leaving a will, and was survived by two children.[1]
