Harold Brooking (21 May 1883 – 16 September 1916 (aged 33)) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Infantry (Manitoba Regiment). Brooking died on active service during the First World War.[1]
Early life
Brooking was born at Gaultois on 21 May 1883.[1]
Service
Brooking enlisted at Port Arthur and served as a private (service number 438750) in the Army, Canadian Infantry (Manitoba Regiment).[1]
Death
Brooking died on 16 September 1916, aged 33. He is commemorated at Vimy Memorial.[1]
