Gordon Stanley Cybolsky (27 July 1920 – 16 November 1940 (aged 20)) was a Canadian soldier from the Thunder Bay district in the Algonquin Regiment, R.C.I.C.. Cybolsky died on active service during the Second World War.[1]
Early life
Cybolsky was born at Renfrew on 27 July 1920, the son of Thomas G. Cybolsky and Mary Cybolsky.[1]
Service
Cybolsky enlisted at Timmins and served as a private (service number B/55386) in the Army, Algonquin Regiment, R.C.I.C..[1]
Death
Cybolsky died of fatally injured by falling building during fire on 16 November 1940, aged 20. He is commemorated at Thunder Bay (St. Andrew'S) R. C. Cemetery (grave reference Sec. 1. Soldiers' Plot. Grave 4.).[1]
