Gordon Leslie Lucas (9 February 1928 – 21 June 1952 (aged 24)) was a Canadian soldier from Port Arthur in the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry, R.C.I.C.. Lucas died on active service during the Second World War.[1]
Early life
Lucas was born in Port Arthur on 9 February 1928, the son of William Herbert Lucas and Hellen Irene Lucas.[1]
Service
Lucas enlisted at Winnipeg and served as a private (service number SH62210) in the Army, Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry, R.C.I.C. (PPCLI).[1]
Death
Lucas died of kia on 21 June 1952, aged 24. He is commemorated at United Nations Cemetery (Busan).[1]
