Gilbert Bouchard (born c. 1853) was a mixed-ancestry member of the Bouchard family of Nipigon House.[1]
Life
- Born at Nipigon House in approximately 1853.
- Married a woman of the Nipigon Band in about 1871; listed as "French & Indian" on the 1871 census, his wife as "Indian".
- Adopted an Indian child before 1891 and wintered at Red Rock in 1882 and possibly 1883.
