George Thomas Cooper (1 February 1893 – 11 October 1918 (aged 25)) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Fort William in the Canadian Infantry (Saskatchewan Regiment). Cooper died on active service during the First World War.[1]
Early life
Cooper was born on 1 February 1893, the son of George Cooper and M. Cooper.[1]
Service
Cooper enlisted at Fort William and served as a private (service number 199256) in the Army, Canadian Infantry (Saskatchewan Regiment) (28th Bn.).[1]
Death
Cooper died of wounds on 11 October 1918, aged 25. He is commemorated at Queant Communal Cemetery British Extension (grave reference D. 50.).[1]
