George Howard Carson ((1917-02-25)25 February 1917 – 27 May 1943(1943-05-27) (aged 26)) was a Canadian soldier from Fort William in the Royal Canadian Air Force. Carson died on active service during the Second World War.[1]

Early life

Carson was born in Fort William on 25 February 1917, the son of Robert William Carson and Mary Irene Convery Carson, husband of Ruth Winnifred Hawkins Carson.[1]

Service

Carson enlisted at Fort William and served as a flight lieutenant (service number J/6384) in the Air Force, Royal Canadian Air Force (235 Sqdn.).[1]

Death

Carson died on 27 May 1943, aged 26. He is commemorated at Runnymede Memorial (grave reference Panel 172.).[1]
