George Connor (23 January 1881 – 28 April 1921 (aged 40)) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur in the Canadian Infantry (Manitoba Regiment). Connor died on active service during the First World War.[1]
Early life
Connor was born on 23 January 1881, the son of Robert Connor and Amelia Connor, husband of Marion Pryor Connor.[1]
Service
Connor enlisted at Port Arthur and served as a sergeant (service number 439469) in the Army, Canadian Infantry (Manitoba Regiment) (52nd Bn.).[1]
Death
Connor died of pneumonia on 28 April 1921, aged 40. He is commemorated at Thunder Bay (Riverside) Cemetery (grave reference Lot 47. Sec. I.).[1]
