George Albert Price (15 August 1920 – 9 August 1944 (aged 23)) was a Canadian soldier who served in Thunder Bay's Lake Superior Regiment. Price died on active service during the Second World War.[1]
Early life
Price was born at Mundare on 15 August 1920, the son of Alfred George Price and Violet Price.[1]
Service
Price enlisted at Saskatoon and served as a private (service number L/39074) in the Army, Lake Superior Regiment ((Motor), R).[1]
Death
Price was killed in action during operation totalize during the push to falaise on 9 August 1944, aged 23. He is commemorated at Bretteville-Sur-Laize Canadian War Cemetery (grave reference VII. F. 14.).[1]
