Frederick William Cleaver (23 March 1885 – 7 May 1917 (aged 32)) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Fort William in the Canadian Infantry (Saskatchewan Regiment). Cleaver died on active service during the First World War.[1]
Early life
Cleaver was born on 23 March 1885, the son of Alfred Cleaver and Elizabeth Cleaver.[1]
Service
Cleaver enlisted at Fort William and served as a private (service number 198209) in the Army, Canadian Infantry (Saskatchewan Regiment) (28th Bn.).[1]
Death
Cleaver died on 7 May 1917, aged 32. He is commemorated at Vimy Memorial.[1]
