Frank Stephen Meadows (5 October 1910 – 11 June 1944 (aged 33)) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur in the 1st Hussars, R.C.A.C.. Meadows died on active service during the Second World War.[1]
Early life
Meadows was born at Maitland on 5 October 1910.[1]
Service
Meadows enlisted at Port Arthur and served as a trooper (service number H/195169) in the Army, 1st Hussars, R.C.A.C. (6th Armd. Regt.).[1]
Death
Meadows died of missing, presumed killed in action on 11 June 1944, aged 33. He is commemorated at Bayeux Memorial (grave reference Panel 19, Column 2.).[1]
