Frank Halvorson (24 November 1918 – 29 October 1944 (aged 25)) was a Canadian soldier who enlisted at Port Arthur in the Sherbrooke Fusiliers Regiment, R.C.A.C.. Halvorson died on active service during the Second World War.[1]
Early life
Halvorson was born at Edmonton on 24 November 1918, the son of John Halvorson and Ann Halvorson.[1]
Service
Halvorson enlisted at Port Arthur and served as a trooper (service number H/45935) in the Army, Sherbrooke Fusiliers Regiment, R.C.A.C. (27th Armd. Regt.).[1]
Death
Halvorson died on 29 October 1944, aged 25. He is commemorated at Bergen-Op-Zoom Canadian War Cemetery (grave reference 8. D. 7.).[1]
